Seven years old. Over 35 matches in one year. A world title. The road to the next one runs through whoever decides to back him early.
He stepped on the mats before he learned to read
Izzy trains at Gênesis Academy BJJ and has competed on the European and international kids circuit since his first year in the division. In 2025 he fought more than 35 official matches, reaching the podium at the season’s biggest events.
His routine combines three training sessions a week, age-appropriate physical preparation and competition trips across four countries. The family funds the season and is looking for partners to sustain the next cycle.
2026 goal: defend the world title and compete the full IBJJF circuit in Europe.
Izrael Chelios
Izrael Chelios is a 7-year-old Jiu-Jitsu athlete who stepped on the mats at the age of 4. From the very beginning, Izrael showed a fearless spirit, incredible focus, and the joy of learning every new technique with a big smile.
For Izrael, Jiu-Jitsu is not just about competition—it’s about friendship, growth, and the excitement of becoming stronger every day. His determination and playful energy make him stand out, proving that even at a young age, passion and discipline can shine through.
In 2025, Izrael has already tested himself at international tournaments, proudly representing his academy and his family. His dream is to keep growing as an athlete, compete at the biggest stages like ADCC and IBJJF Worlds, and inspire other kids to discover world of Jiu-Jitsu.
